Interesting post but somewhere contradictory. Creating “weird themes” (I remember the time when theme’s creators tried to do something never seen) and classifying themes for purposes.
I use WP since 2005 and I cannot do a proper job with FSE themes. Simple things (saving/exporting a theme ?) are frustrating.
